MEET THE AUTHOR
Hey All,
My pen name on Dreame, GoodNovel and Ao3 is LostInQueue. While I've only had a few aliases in my day, but I've taken a liking to this one and what it represents.
It came about several years ago while I was in between freelancing projects. I found myself reading an exorbitant amount of Reylo fanfiction to pass the time. I read everything from canon to divergent to alternate universes and even modern settings and got really into it. I learned about tropes and that there are many. I learned about kinks and how I’m into dark fics, as well as paranormal ones as well.
Reading these stories taught me about lives and livelihoods that I hadn’t considered being from my own bubble. It opened my eyes to more; to analyze feelings past “this is what it is” and “get over it.” There was so much more to explore… and because of those fantastic fics, I couldn't shake the feeling that I could do it too, and thus, LostInQueue was born.
This pen name allowed me to sink in far past the reaches of my artistic approach and really explore characters and their worlds freely. Yes, yes, I am a closet case in terms of my authorship in reference to my family knowing (shh). Like many authors out there, I found it more comforting to build myself up from scratch than get the side eye from, say, my parents. My husband, on the other hand, has been very supportive about it, of which, I’m extremely thankful for.
Writing as LostInQueue freed the reins on real life and writing began to feel natural again. I started with fanfiction for a few years and then took my first leap into original novels thereafter. Publishing with Dreame has been my first step. I currently have nine completed novels with them. I have a few more planned books with them to finish my series and several sequels, as it’s the right thing to do for my amazing readers. Afterwards, I plan on going more mainstream. Information on this will be posted as I get closer to it.

GoodNovel has been a recent venture within this year (2022). I currently only have one story with them but it will soon be updated with another soon. Please see the Novels section of my website for more on that.
Also, I should add that I’ve significantly enjoyed co-writing with a couple of Reylo authors that include: HisAngel910 and MyJediLife, of which I hope to continue doing in the future. I am quite lucky to have them. They have been so encouraging and wonderful throughout my growth and our projects give me life. <3
Anyhow! Thank you for reading about me and I hope we can connect soon.

Hey All!
Exciting News!
I have a new pen name for writing on sites like Amazon and Kindle. If you really know me or have read the stories I’ve written as LostInQueue, the character names I pick always have a meaning as does my new name: Colla Triti.
At first glance, it looks like a delightful snack I’ve only just heard of but it isn’t. It’s not. I’ve looked. However, during my research, I found that there were actual names dedicated to being not only lost but by way of time as well. It blew my mind.
To be honest, there were others that I liked but as a fellow author, Chele MacCabe pointed out, in the event that I’m ever at a book signing, I’d need to sign with this pen name. It sounds silly, but she’s absolutely and undoubtedly correct. Without her bringing it up, I would have gone for Colla Dari, which in my graffiti signing style, had no amount of practice (besides stacking) let my signature look like anything but a penis. Laughably, while the graffiti dick would have been funny for some, I do write for younger crowds sometimes and knowing this about my signature, did not seem wise. Therefore, Colla Triti was the winner.
It was, honest to goodness, my first choice anyway.
Signing in graffiti has always been my signature style, despite never handling a spray can in any other way than directed (for the record), and pulling myself out of it just didn’t seem right. In fact, I’m pretty certain that signing in any other style would significantly screw up my real signature so, with that being majorly the case, Colla Triti will make her debut with my first short story in an anthology with The New Romance Cafe in October.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve also listed it on my Wix site, in the top left hand corner for desktop users and in the top menu on the mobile bar. Colla Triti will be my go to pen name for all Amazon and Kindle related fiction. LostInQueue will stay on Ao3, Dreame, and GoodNovel as a reference point. While Colla Triti may not sound like LostInQueue, it has a deep meaning that is essentially exactly what I imagined LostInQueue to be way back when.
Colla means, “lost in antiquity”.
Triti means, “a moment in time”.
It’s perfect. It binds me to all places within spaces that I have yet to discover and as the opportunist I am, it’s like handing me a blank map and setting me free to explore.
That being said, LostInQueue and Colla Triti are one and the same.
Until we meet again, happy reading!
