LOSTINQUE: THE DREAME AUTHOR

I'm an artist by nature. Crafting worlds and characters are some of the fondest memories I have in creation in general. I love paying attention to the world around me and finding the beauty in it, and when I made the transition into writing several years ago, I had no idea that I would be on this road with nine published stories through Stary Writing's romance library: Dreame.

It has certainly been a journey to write for them, I must give credit where it is due. The first book I read on this platform was, Abused and Broken by Britney, who also has written a few other stories I have yet to read.

The deeper I had gotten into it, the more I pulled at the roots of my experiences writing fan-fiction and decided to take the leap of fate. Being an author that loves working within the depth of the Omegaverse, it seemed only fitting to start with The Omega Witch. It's written in a first person narrative, of which the main character, Vivian Zera, learns incredible truths about herself and her family. It follows a rich history, delving into time travel to restore goddess Selene's werewolves' species after failing her daughters tremendously.

The Omega Witch was the first book I have ever written as a first person narrative, which sounds odd now that I think about it. The most I've written in my own point of view have been a recent journal and simple text messaging and responding to emails. If anyone asked if I would have written a full novel like this a year and a half ago, I may have laughed. The truth is, however, once I started to outline it and figured out all of my plot points, the story grew and I wanted to know more about this astounding, young Omega that was taking on her world as she was.

To give you an idea of her, Vivian Zera is a shapeshifter. She's capable of shifting as a werewolf does, just like the rest of her kind. Vivian is her human while Zera is her wolf. Vivian knows the missing part of her trinity is an unnamed Omega but she's unwilling to settle down, even though Zera would like to. It causes them a great amount of conflict until goddess Selene forces Zera to shift and leave Vivian's instincts in the dust. Zera is very aware that the two need their designation to restore balance to their being. She knows that once they are in balance with each other that they'll finally find their fated mate, but Vivian's complicated her life enough that Zera's ready to welcome anyone. The internal struggle is real and affects each of the werewolves similarly.

By their legend, Goddess Selene, created werewolves to be more than human. She planned the species out based on the moon phases, to be ingrained in each individual's very soul. Each one of them held a key to the sky, stars and the moon within their truest form to connect to goddess Selene herself. Being able to keep their balance is a necessity to the entirety of the species, regardless of the packs they are divided into. However, one family's decision has devastated them all and Selene is desperate to correct it. She only hopes her daughter, Vivian Zera is up to the challenge.

Without spoiling any of my works, despite the challenging odds that most of my characters find themselves standing off with, many of them are strong and courageous, regardless of their gender. I found it impressively entertaining to build up certain aspects of my characters while leaving out others which made for a more dynamic group of people trying to overcome their odds.

For an example, The Legend of the Alpha-Omega, my second book, written in third person narrative as the remaining seven are, focuses on multiple points of view to help tell the story. Each character is unique, down to every informative right, including reacting specifically to the main character despite their supporting character roles. It really did bring in a fantastic dynamic that I would love to go through in another article discussing that book on it's own.

Others, who similarly set the scene as multiple points of view were graciously giving, I found, regardless of the shared main character stance in Fire In My Heart. This story was actually my fourth, preceded by, The Dragon's Soulmate, in which, the story stays primarily with the main character, Raine. The surprisingly went on to becoming my first series, in which, it was never meant to but became thrillingly inspired by the game, Dungeons and Dragons, that the story had to go on. The Dragon's Soulmate has two additional books that follow it: His Quest for Raine, and His Alpha Warrior, which I am dying to know if anyone has figured out who "His" refers to within the titles.

Between these, as now they are indefinitely not in time order, I wrote: Safety At His Command, Alpha Beach, and Bound With The Water Dragon. Two of which were for contests, and Alpha Beach was written for the summer which paired my experiences being a lifeguard years ago with the Omegaverse, leaving readers to root for even this couple to succeed.

For those of you that have read my books and know about the tenth story that appears there, Mating Season, is currently on pause as I am working on several projects at the moment. As it turns out, it's very difficult for me to hop back and forth between works these days. I can't help but feel bad about all of my works in progress within my fan-fiction family as it is extremely fun to have that "aha" moment and chase it all the way down the rabbit hole, but it has made remembering what I'm doing far harder in stories already started. Therefore, putting it on pause seemed like the only way.

As noted before, these books are exclusives to Dreame. Six of them are free while three are not. If you're new to Dreame, they operate on a coin system where 100 words = 1 coin. Each chapter may vary anywhere from 1,000 words to 2,500. This means it can add up which is why so many of my stories are free. I'm only setting certain stories up with the Pay To Read program. While all of my stories are special and important to me, your reading experience is too. By reading the free stories, Dreame gives you the ability to accumulate coins that you can use to open additional chapters as a bonus to your account, which can be either used on my pay to read (PTR) stories or other authors' stories as well.

It's crazy to me to think about the time that has past and that and all that has been accomplished. There has been so much I've learned and I am still learning. I can't wait to share that adventure in full with all of you as I continue to post here and on social media about my inspiration and so forth. I hope that you find time to checkout the site and keep up with me in the process.

Finally, I'd love to hear from you about any of these stories or my journey in general. You can reach me on Facebook, Instagram, in comments on The Omega Witch chapters within the Dreame library or even here through the contact section if you'd like.

Until then, I wish you all the best and happy reading! LostInQueue
