The Omega Witch Character Introductions: Jordan Aashita Silverwind
Hey All,
I’m back to introduce Jordan Aashita Silverwind.
Jordan’s name means one who descends, while Aashita means one that is the creator of hope, very optimistic. While she is at one with herself and her trinity, she is absolutely being sucked into a rabbit hole, trying to save her daughter from the same terrifying outcome that is her heat.
Sylvia, like Jordan when she first presented far too early, is on the brink of hers. As a mother, I can relate to wanting to be ready to take their pain from my children. Whether it be emotional or physical, it’s hard to watch them suffer through their hardships. Jordan has spent the majority of her life since her daughter’s birth to come up with an alternative to the stressful terrors of the first heat. She believes wholeheartedly in Goddess Selene’s gifts but this one had to be done on error.
She thinks that it must be for the gods and goddesses, the ritual that has taken place since the dawn of werewolf time, but they’ve since evolved. Packs are more spread out. There was no way that a fated mate would find their correct partner. The logic didn’t add up and so the questions began to build. Jordan’s own heat is what calls her fated mate, Kristoph Sarkis to her but even that had been more than she expected.
Jordan’s mate became a legend for his reserve. He didn’t blindly take what she helplessly gave. He remained at the ready to care for her, protect her… but that wasn’t to say any other werewolf would have done the same if Kristoph didn’t make it there in time. That was the other thing too. Goddess Selene kept secrets. The fated mate wasn’t deemed worthy until after they found their unity within themselves. Listening to three entities: her human, wolf, and Omega, proved to be a challenge. If the fated mate didn’t achieve this, they wouldn’t be capable of finding their other half.
There was too much to keep up with and because of it, she took on the challenge to help Sylvia remain in control until she felt the ability to make the decision to mate on her own.
It was all so simple. A mother looking out for her child… but Goddess Selene took Jordan’s actions as a slight. She forced energy into the moon’s glow and gravitational pull to throw Jordan’s work, to warn her, but nothing worked. Instead, Jordan pressed on, until that fateful day where she pushed just a hair too far…
And for the sake of spoilers, I’ll stop.
Next up will be Kristoph Sarkis Silverwind.
Until next time, happy reading!
