The Omega Witch Character Introductions: Kristoph Sarkis Silverwind

Hey All! We're back with Kristoph Sarkis Silverwind which is Sylvia’s father and Jordan’s mate.

In their world, where fated mates are specific to finding their completeness, Kristoph is a legend for putting Jordan first. As I mentioned earlier in other posts, Kristoph’s actions and his ability to listen to Jordan during her inability to suppress her goddess given biological clock to breed, are unheard of for the time period. This is what makes him into what Vivian and the others know him to be in the present time.

However… Kristoph’s story, his reasoning for his reaction to Jordan, comes from a very relatable occurrence in what we know as dating. His control, deep down, is the reality that I see in normal reactions to others. He didn’t happen upon her heat. Being balanced within himself helped her call out to him as Jordan was confident in herself and her achievements before her heat. Without truly knowing each other, they knew how to connect. It’s a primal instinct to know how to, but he decides not to allow it to take over.

It’s how their relationship builds throughout their own story. It’s how he manages to go along with Jordan’s need to protect Sylvia going forward. Despite their mistakes, Kristoph gave Jordan their foundation past the physical need to complete her.

He doesn’t do it to become a legend, but still, his story, wrapped solely in his scent, catches wind. It silently communicates to the others as if it’s a message from their goddess.

While we know for sure that Kristoph has a wolf form to create his trinity, like Jordan, we don’t really learn much about them. Their names are important though. Kristoph means bearing of Christ, which in this case is altered to mean bearing of goddess Selene for the story’s purposes. His wolf, Sarkis, means protector or shepherd, which is also exceptional because of his need to fill those roles.

He goes beyond himself to keep them safe and follow their wishes as they become his own to be sure that their unit is healthy and kept. He is truly a leveled being and an excellent mate. However, he does have flaws in this. Success and failure are parts of life. No one is ever one hundred percent fantastic all of the time, and towards the middle of the book we get to see him have real concerns within their time period. He isn’t sure of himself or what they’re doing. All he wants is the peace of knowing that his daughter will be fine and Jordan will find her peace but that stress is ruining him.

And with that said, I won’t spoil it.
