The Omega Witch Character Introductions: Ta'lab
Updated: Mar 8, 2022
Hey All,
I’m back to introduce Ta’lab. As per my research, he's an ancient Yemen god that was worshiped by Sumʿay tribes. Again, in my research, I found very little about him. At the very least, I found that he was a god of the moon and protector of pastures. For me, that says a lot. It may not look like a lot but protecting anything at all takes quite a bit of focus, skill, and heart. Protecting pastures is an amazing feat, and one that I particularly wanted to explore in a more supernatural way, so I decided to proceed with him.
In the story, he compliments Alignak’s silliness with his calmness. I’ve portrayed him as thoughtful in a different design where he can connect deeply with Vivian’s scientific side. His intentions are purely interested in completing the task without jeopardizing the lands or herself in the process which is a huge undertaking in the urgency of Vivian’s mission. Still, he is completely capable and it is pure art to read their experiences together.
If you, or someone you know, followed Ta’lab, I’d love to know what your thoughts of my portrayal of him are.
With that, the next character to follow is Young Alexander Asmodeus. This is another variation of Alexander, of course, but it’s necessary to show him within his timeline of where he’s just about ready to let himself go, changing history altogether.
Until then, happy reading!
