TLOTAO Character Introductions: Frank
This Alpha is a good man. He wears his heart on his sleeve for most, and is ready to protect his gained friends turned family since first meeting them. Frank has been serving in the Air Force since he was right out of high school. It just seemed like the calling he needed to follow and not one ounce of him believed it was because he was an Alpha. It was just the right thing to do; protecting his country.
Protecting his family came as an easy thought thereafter too.
Upon meeting Kayla, he gets a flat that cannot possibly be changed out on the roadside during the awful Nevada heat. He probably would have been alright with a spare, if the P.O.S. would have released any of the lug nuts. At least then he would have had a chance. When Kayla finds Frank pushing his vehicle onto her lot, she sizes him up and based on his nod alone, she offers him a tire off of her own vehicle, and a place to stay until the heat breaks.
It’s not unheard of to show respect, but an Alpha willingly submitting to any other designation with a nod such as the one he had given to Kayla, is. Only, Frank didn’t feel like it was. She was the owner of the establishment and could refuse him. When you live out there, the heat can be so damning that not even your eyes can make tears. It was a no-brainer. Submit.
As off as he felt after, he couldn’t help the way that he felt when Frank met Roxi. It was clear that he needed to figure out a way to stay. Permanently. Besides continuing his service to the country, that is.
He’s been with them ever since. Roxi and Frank mated and are living their best lives in a tiny ranch they’re renting. only twenty minutes from Kayla’s shop so that Kayla didn’t feel like he was taking Roxi away from her. It was the least he could do. Kayla does act like the Alpha and all.
Frank wants to raise a family but knows that the place they’re staying in now isn't something they can expand on, especially with the extra bedroom set up as a guest room for Roxi’s mother whenever she’s around.
Up next, Pedro.
Until then, happy reading!
